Introduction

With a focus on the ancient period, the exhibition, "The Glory of Chinese Printing" is presented jointly by the Printing Museum of China, the Hong Kong Printers Association, the Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Printing Industry Workers Union.

The exhibits have been selected from the Printing Museum of China where a large collection of artefacts are on display year round. Both ancient and recent developments of printing are presented there.

All the items of this exhibition are on loan from the Origin and Ancient Times Hall of the Museum. A selection from that Hall is now premiered in Hong Kong.
